A five-member delegation from the National Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN), Abuja, led by the North Central Zonal Chairman, visited Yinolu College of Health Technology, Ilorin (YINCOHTEC) on Tuesday, 7th October 2025, for an official accreditation and advisory visit. The visit signifies another important step in YINCOHTECH’s journey toward full recognition and national certification of its Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW) program.
Yinolu College of Health Technology, Ilorin (YINCOHTECH), on Tuesday, 7th October 2025, proudly hosted a five-member delegation from the National Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN) on an official accreditation and advisory visit to the college.
The visiting team, representing the national headquarters in Abuja, was led by the North Central Zonal Chairman and included the Chairman of the Agency, the Liaison Officer, and two other senior members of the Board.
The visit aimed to evaluate YINCOHTEC’s facilities, academic programs, staffing, and compliance with national standards in preparation for the accreditation of the Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW) program — one of the college’s flagship health training programs.
The delegation was warmly received by the Founder of the College, Alhaji Ibrahim Yinusa, along with the College Management Team, Heads of Departments, staff, and students. The team was conducted around key facilities including lecture halls, laboratories, demonstration rooms, library, and administrative offices.
